The Cincinnati Horticultural Society launches its first ever
Fresh Air School at Meade House in Symmes Township.
"No more pencils, no more books, no more teachers' dirty looks!"
If you have little ones, you might be hearing this schoolhouse rhyme right about now. And despite all the fun things you've lined up for the next few weeks, before you know it, what you might be hearing is a litany of:
"Mom, I'm bored. There's nothing to do."
Every Thursday, from June 24 through August 19, on the grounds of the historic Meade House in Symmes Township, the Horticultural Society will offer a two-hour respite built around the theme of "GROW IT, COOK IT, EAT IT, HAVE FUN!"
Children will learn about food and where it comes from, cooking, plus international activities and crafts all while getting some fresh air.
