Cincinnati, Ohio (USA) - Step into the enchanted realm of fairies in The Primrose Garden at the 15th Anniversary Cincinnati Flower Show presented by Provident Bank April 21-25, 2004 at historic Coney Island.

Created by Minnesota-based designer, Kathryn Swenson of Gnomenculture, Inc., the Primrose Garden celebrates spring’s first floral bloom with the charm of a magical fairy garden. "I worked as an interior and architectural designer for years, but I’ve always had a special fondness for miniatures," Ms. Swenson says. "I get to combine the best of both worlds with the fairy gardens. It’s been awfully fun for me to reproduce the architecture," she concludes.

When you approach the fairy garden, you will find an ancient stone wall which surrounds mysteries to explore in a secret garden room. An English gothic door is your portal into the magical little fairy garden complete with miniature stone walls, bridges, English Cotswald cottages and tiny fairy furniture to behold.

Miniature English Boxwoods ring the centerpiece fairy garden fountain and a gentle waterfall flows into a peaceful garden stream. Sprightly garden fairies, inspired by botanical artist, Cicely Mary Barker, dance and flit playfully with their pixie playmates in this teeny charmed garden.

For the young and the young at heart, this garden is truly exceptional!
