Spotlight Table in Dramatic Table Settings at the Cincinnati Flower Show April 21-25 at historic Coney Island, is a table tableau that glorifies the romance of flowers in a design by Robert Rufino entitled, An 18th Century Madness. The dramatic setting echoes the painterly atmosphere of films such as Barry Lyndon and Dangerous Liaisons. An over-the-top couture evening dress tablecloth cascades off the table like the train of a gown. Elegant table accessories produced in France for Tiffany & Co. combine to form an eccentric 18th century environment having both old world sophistication and new world glamour. A variety of dinner seating upholstered in antique tapestries and embroidered silks surround the table adding drama to the environment. Each place setting sets the scene for a selection of Tiffany & Co. merchandise. A magnificent coffee service in sterling silver and beautiful Le Tallec china in Tiffany & Co.’s exclusive pattern, ‘Jardin,’ are the perfect accompaniment to the floral theme. Larger than life candelabras and an exquisite coffee service in sterling silver bring elegance to the tablescape while a collection of Tiffany Studio Glass fragrance bottles adds mystery and romance. Rising from the center of the table you will find an explosion of lush flowers, fruits and vegetables in a spectacular arrangement by Dennis Buttelwerth.
